Representing the Green Mountain State from the shores of Lake Champlain, 16-year-old Josslyn McKenna is a driven youth advocate. A rising Junior at Essex High School, she is a member of the Visual & Performing Arts Academy with a focus on Pottery and Acrylic Painting. Josslyn is Neurodiverse, but doesn’t let that limit her, she is a Varsity and competitive All-Star cheerleader, who enjoys being active & outdoors and spending time with loved ones. The founder of the Youth Advocacy Alliance of Vermont she raises awareness for childhood poverty and homelessness, and works to increase access to resources for youth.

Samantha Vocatura is a 27-year-old public speaker, actress, and business owner. Sammivoc is a successful sustainable clothing company 100% made in the USA which extensively leverages her dual bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Economics from McGill University. As Miss Vermont USA, Samantha has expanded her partnership with the Minding Your Mind organization to regularly speak at schools across the country on her own experience of overcoming depression as a teenager. Pageantry gave her the courage and the platform to use her voice to inspire people to conquer any obstacle they may face.
